As part of the activities marking its 25th anniversary, Opération Enfant Soleil will have the privilege of hosting the 6th edition of the Mike Weir Miracle Golf Drive for Kids, which will be held on August 13 at the prestigious Club Laval-sur-le-Lac.

The event is presented by Thomson Reuters, under the honorary presidency of Mr. Luc Paiement, Executive Vice President, Wealth Management, National Bank, and Co-President and Co-Chief Executive Officer, National Bank Financial.

The presence of Mike Weir at this unique activity will offer participants the opportunity to enjoy a memorable experience while supporting a worthy cause.
"I am thrilled to be coming to Montreal this summer and help raise additional funds for Opération Enfant Soleil," says Mike Weir, professional golfer. "Hosting the past five tournaments across Canada has been incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to the prospect of getting closer to our $10 million goal to support children's health."
"As a global organization, Thomson Reuters shares a passion with our customers to serve and strengthen the communities in which we operate," said Eileen Lynch, Senior Vice-President Global Brand Marketing, Thomson Reuters. "We are proud to continue to support the important work of The Mike Weir Foundation and this terrific event, which has been so successful in generating funds towards critical care, research, and education for children's hospitals in Canada."
"This event will have a tremendous impact on Opération Enfant Soleil's 25th anniversary celebrations, and we are so grateful for that." says René Rouleau, President of the Board, Opération Enfant Soleil.

Proceeds from this event, initiated by The Mike Weir Foundation, will benefit sick children in the province of Quebec, thanks to Opération Enfant Soleil, a member of the Children's Miracle Network.

About Children's Miracle Network

Children's Miracle Network® raises funds for 170 children's hospitals and foundations, 14 of which are in Canada. These foundations and hospitals, in turn, use the money where it's needed the most. When a donation is given, it stays in the community, ensuring that every dollar is helping local kids. Since 1983, Children's Miracle Network has raised more than $4 billion, most of it $1 at a time. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase life-saving equipment, and ensure excellence in care, all in support of our mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
